Here is Thor: Love and Thunder, behind the scenes teeming with innumerable amounts of fun, humor, and Thor’s never-ending magic.
Taika Waititi’s Anime Craze

Director Taika Waititi is the man behind MCU films‘ success and the Thor franchise. He emphasizes feeling creatively stimulated as a person. However, not many know that the creator of Marvel Universe films has a deep-rooted craze for anime!
He was spotted donning a One-Piece t-shirt on the sets of Thor. The video, which went viral, left One Piece fans in an uproar. Reportedly, Taika Waititi has been working on the 1988 anime Akira adaptation. This piece of news is undoubtedly a treat for anime fans!
Natalie’s Hammer and Cape

Natalie Portman had the privilege of working with Waititi and Hemsworth for the second time. She was excited to share the screen space with Thor again. In an interview, she stated,
“It was really magical to wield Mjolnir. I know it’s an extremely privileged position to be in, and not many characters in the MCU are capable of even picking up Mjolnir. So, I felt very lucky throughout.“
Natalie also talks about sharing the cape with her co-star Chris Hemsworth,
“I was really excited to come back as The Mighty Thor and get to share the mantle.” “To have both of us in the same cape was amazing and incredible, especially with Taika at the helm.”
Christian Bale Transformations

Thor’s villain will send chills down your spine. Its teeth-gritting, cold, and frightening avatar have made audiences roar left, right, and center. Hollywood Batman actor Christian Bale donned the hat for several roles in his career, but Thor’s character Gorr, the God Butcher, was really impressive.
He gives credit to his hard-working team, who put out blood and sweat every morning. In an interview, Bale states that he collaborated with absolutely brilliant makeup artists to create this character. He spent four hours in the makeup chair at the beginning of the day and half an hour in the end.
Graphically Rich

One of the most popular comic characters, Gorr, marked its entry into live-action cinema. Gorr’s character as a villain first appeared in Thor, which was released in 2013.
Christian Bale talks about his graphically rich persona and states,
“Gorr is a religious character who, in the beginning, has some prominent tattoos displaying his religious devotion. The tattoos honor the gods. He ends up mutilating himself in order to remove them.”
Bale said that he shot that, and everyone thought it was a bit too extreme to include in the film. But, Waititi said,
“I’d say he’s the most sympathetic villain they’ve had.”
He’s also been tested the highest of any Marvel villain. Yet, he somehow felt that the content was too great. Bale further adds,
“Some things work, and some things don’t, and we want this to be a family film.”
Waititi said, “My kids love it.” The kids of Natalie and Christian Bale are in the film. It’s just cheap labor. “
Where were the ‘New Asgard’ Scenes Shot?

Impressive sequences were shot in the parking basement. The actors of Thor shot some outstanding scenes in a parking lot with a blue screen stuck.
Thor starlet Natalie Portman stated in an interview,
“It’s so wild to be in a movie this size, and we were literally in a parking lot with a blue screen, doing this really dramatic thing.” It looks so stunning on film, but every time I see it, I’m like, ‘That’s a Best Buy parking lot.’

Some Jane Foster Scenes Didn’t Make it to the Movie.
Natalie Portman played the role of Thor’s ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster. She donned the hat of both an astronomer and astrophysicist. Her stunts and acting performances turned out to be brilliant.
Ten years ago, the comic character Jane was sketched pretty differently. Natalie last appeared in Thor as Mighty Thor in 2013’s Dark World. There are times when Jane Foster’s scenes didn’t make it to Thor.
Natalie Portman stated in an interview,
“There were whole sequences, planets, characters, and worlds that didn’t end up in the movie that were hilarious and amazing.” We spent a lot of time and energy on it; indeed, the entire crew was also designing and conceiving.
Natalie further added,
“It’s just amazing how much great material is not in the film, considering how much great material is in it. Usually, it’s like, you’re just trying to get enough good stuff to put in the film, and this had overflowed. So that was really surprising.”
Thor’s 10 Personas

Chris Hemsworth deems director Taika Waititi a genius child. Thor is unlike other Marvel heroes, and he shines bright like a star in everyone’s eye. The way he carries his strength is beyond amazing. He is a sweetheart! We all love Thor because he resonates with a certain warmth.
His sensitive nature is to die for. He’s someone who wears his heart on his sleeves; at the same time, he’s got the heart of a warrior. Although he can fill the room with terror, he’s got that wink that makes girls weak in the knees.
Ten Personalities of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Love and Thunder was something he looked forward to playing. He loved playing every part of Thor. Chris says that the film transitions us from the endgame into the rebirth of Thor. He elaborates that his place in the universe is unknown. That’s represented in his wardrobe as well.
Thor’s new Favorite Place

Chris Hemsworth enjoys wearing the cape of Thor. This we all saw in all Marvel installments. When Chris talked about visiting his favorite new place as a character, he stated,
“My favorite new location would be New Asgard, and the last time we saw Thor in New Asgard, it was basically a hillside fishing village.” And now it has evolved into a thriving tourist destination.”

Favorite Scenes with Co-Actors

Chris Hemsworth’s favorite scene to shoot in the movie was reuniting with Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor and teaming up with the guardians. Tessa Thompson loved all the scenes with Natalie Portman, but the one she really loved was Valkyrie finding sisterhood again. Christian Bale’s favorite moment was screaming for 30 seconds straight, which did not see daylight in the film. He enjoyed it immensely.
The Most Powerful Thing Ignited…
Taika Waititi says, “Love eclipses anything” and “Love is more powerful than ten suns.” Chris Hemsworth cherishes “Love, and it’s all we need, and there’s always thunder. Sometimes within love as well as within life. But love is what brings us home“.
The Mighty Thor, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson add that love is more powerful.
