Known as Fleabag, she frequently breaks the fourth wall and appears with inner monologues, passing commentary directly to the audience.
It is a great approach while making it entertaining and funnier, connecting with the audience. The two-season show got positive critical acclaim worldwide. The success was huge, and got several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Andrew Scott joins the show in the second and final season as a Priest full of wisdom and wit. He has a charming presence throughout the season, and his speeches are passionate. One of the best is the one where he talks about love. “[Love is] all any of us want and it’s hell when we get there…” and how it is difficult and hurtful at the same time– “So, no wonder it’s something we don’t want to do on our own.”

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a brilliant show full of comedy, drama, feminism, and what not to throw shade on stereotypes. The series has many dialogues, but there is one that makes women what they are made of. Midge once said, “If women don’t realize what’s going on in the world, they won’t step in and fix it,” It is the most striking one.

In the second season, Jack Ryan is on a mission in Venezuela to bring stability to the country. Critics praised Krasinsky’s performance, and who can tell he was in a completely different role in his previous show?

The Man in the High Castle introduces some characters from the alternate earth whose destinies are intertwined. They discover newsreels and some movies that show alternate history. The Man in the High Castle has four seasons ready to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
The Man in the High Castle is so engrossing with fast character development that the pilot episode became the most streamed Amazon original show. That’s how you let them win.”

Amazon Studios produced the television series Bosch, a police procedural series with seven seasons. Harry Bosch is a Los Angeles Police department’s homicide detective. The series, in every season, brings an amalgamation of stories from some of the best crime novels.
In the first season, Bosch tries to solve the murder case of a thirteen-year-old boy while recapturing the serial killer who escapes custody. The police drama is quite enjoyable, with witty plots and suspenseful turns. Some viewers may criticize it for its slow pace at some point, but it is worth a try if you love crime novels.
Bosch had some pretty witty and sarcastic lines in the show, and one of them might hurt Golf lovers— “Golf is not a great sport. If you can smoke and drink while doing it, it’s not a sport.”- Bosch
- Show Developer: Eric Overmyer
- Cast: Titus Welliver, Jamie Hector, Amy Aquino, Lance Reddick, Annie Wersching
6. The Boys
Amazon Prime Video’s most popular and best show is none but The Boys. The reason lies in the unusual plot of superheroes. It is adapted from the comic book of the same name by comic writer and artist Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Containing three seasons, for now, the series will return for the fourth season, which is still in the works.
The Boys centers around a group of vigilantes (ordinary humans), known as The Boys, who want to bring out the real persona of the superhero group The Seven. These superheroes are, in reality, corrupted, extremely arrogant, and selfish. They even work for a powerful corporation that monetizes them as a marketing product.

Targeted to adult audiences, The Boys got a huge rise in viewership in the second season. It has a fresh and realistic yet brutal look on the superheroes. However, if you want to enjoy a new approach to superheroes or rather anti-heroes, then this series is perfect for you. There are even some lines from the characters like Billy Butcher that makes you root for anti-heroes. “What have you got to lose that you ain’t already lost?” and “Expecting a happy ending, were we? Well, I’m sorry, Hughie. It ain’t that kind of massage parlor”.
- Show-runner: Eric Kripke
- Cast: Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher
7. Homecoming

Famous Hollywood actor Julia Roberts debuted in the TV series with a psychological thriller television series on Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on the Gimlet Media podcast of the same name, but the second season slightly shifts from the podcast with a new cast and plot.
In the anthology series, Roberts plays the character Heidi Bergman. She is a social worker at the Homecoming Transitional Support Center. Their general work helps the soldier transition to civilian life. Fast forward to four years later, Bergman suddenly appears as a waitress, having a new life and job. She barely remembers her time at her previous job in the Homecoming center.
This mysterious plotline centers around what happened to the facility group. While the first season kept up the suspense and was a huge hit for a few viewers, the second season didn’t exceed expectations. Bergman has some lines in the series that are relatable and makes sense. “Then I start to think, what difference does it make? If we lie?”— Heidi Bergman

Good Omens is a comedy fantasy series featuring some Christian themes. Popular comic writer and author Neil Gaiman created and wrote this show adapted from Gaiman and another author Terry Pratchett’s novel of the same name. The two supernatural beings became acquaintances despite being different. They are currently quite used to life on earth; however, they have to prevent the world from the coming of the anti-Christ and Armageddon. The six episodes series, co-produced by Amazon Studios and BBC Studios, is short and limited but complete. However, Amazon announced they renewed the series with Sheen and Tennant as leads.
Good Omens is a great comedy series where people praised the good chemistry between the two leads. These two always bring the charms and steals the show. Their conversation and dialogues are hilarious sometimes. One of the hilarious moments came from Crowley, where they realized they don’t matter to the larger world and will always cancel each other out. “So we are both working very hard in damp places and just canceling each other out.”— Crowley
- Director: Douglas Mackinnon
- Cast: Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Daniel Mays, Sian Brooke, Ned Dennehy.
9. Undone

Undone is Amazon Primes Original series, which is unique, using humans in an animation. This psychological adult animated series uses the rotoscoping process, where human moments turn into animated motion.
Rosa Salazar plays the character of a young woman named Alma, who recently survived a car crash. She gets a vision of her dead father and realizes that she can travel her mind through time. The story centers around her discovery which she uses to solve the mystery of his father’s death.
I HIGHLY recommend the Amazon Original "#Undone". A surrealistic dissection of mental health vs. higher thinking pushed through the prism of well written and performed characters. I can't remember the last new series I enjoyed so completely. pic.twitter.com/Dw1tpdLwue
— 𝙱𝚘 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚕𝚕 (@infrafan) February 12, 2020
Undone is fascinating, unique, and thought-provoking, unlike any other Amazon Prime Video Series. The second season returns in 2022, and both seasons are worth the watch. It has some profound dialogues too that deal with mental illness, family traumas, and many more. One line from the show proves that tragedy, grief, and loss are a part of our life, and we must accept them. “Don’t we have to accept that hard things are going to happen? Like, being able to move through this kind of stuff, that is life.”
- Director: Hisko Hulsing
- Cast: Rosa Salazar, Bob Odenkirk, Angelique Cabral, Constance Marie, Siddharth Dhananjay, Daveed Diggs
10. Tales from the Loop
The best science sci-fi series you could ask for is here on Amazon Prime Video. Loosely based on the art book by Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag, the story follows the loop of interconnected lives of the fictional town. In the fictional town of Mercer, Ohio, there is a Mercer Center for Experimental Physics where they made a machine that unlocks the mysteries of the universe. The people above the loop can deal with the mysteries.
The eight-episode first-season anthology series has each episode with a new story. The series is a work of craft. Tales from the Loop is visually stunning and pretty justifies the artwork. Although it is a sci-fi series, it may break your heart as it explores loneliness, parenthood, grief, aging, and more.
